RCMP police dog finds missing 50-year-old man, McGraw Brook, N.B.

The missing 50-year-old Miramichi man missing in the woods since early Friday morning has been found safe.

On June 18, 2010 around super time, a Bathurst RCMP Police Dog found the missing man in the woods in the McGraw Brook area close to Highway 108 between Plaster Rock and Renous. He was found to be confused and disoriented therefore he was taken to Miramichi Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

Many agencies assisted the District 6 RCMP in this search including Bathurst RCMP Police Dog Services, Department of Natural Resources, Miramichi Police Services and Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue.

The RCMP would like to thank the public and the many volunteers for their assistance in this search.
